Product Overview

For stadium amenities and convention centres that fill to the brim in short bursts, a factory-assembled Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE32-1 package provides a well-matched solution, with two CRE 32-1 pumps staged against the demand curve. Part number 93320234 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

This set provides up to 1433 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 27 metres of head where required. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 100 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 380-415 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 11.3 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 10 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on mixed-use commercial buildings and hospitals sites, plus industrial process supply duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 100 mm manifold connections.
  • At P2 each main pump is 2.2 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Two Grundfos CRE 32-1 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
