Product Overview

In hospital precincts and university campuses feeding dozens of en-suite banks, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRE64-1 answers with two CRE 64-1 pumps operating in parallel. Part number 93320262 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

It handles flows up to 3145 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 47 metres of head when pressure demand increases. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 150 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 27.2 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on aged-care complexes and hospitals sites, plus industrial process supply duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Two Grundfos CRE 64-1 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 150 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Rated 7.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
