Product Overview

Across installations such as residential towers and medium commercial sites outgrowing their mains pressure, the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 10-2 maintains stable pressure at every draw-off point. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 99752275.

This set provides up to 445 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 28 metres of head where required. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

The two-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 3.7 A. The motors have IP55 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Its home ground covers industrial process supply, aged-care complexes and high-rise apartments. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 10-2 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Rated 0.75 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP55.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
