Product Overview

Hotels whose kitchen, laundry and bath peak collide at six in the morning get a constant-pressure answer in this Grundfos Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 10-4 set. One factory-tested package replaces a shelf of loose components; order part number 99752286 to put it on site.

The system supports flow rates up to 453 L/min. It can develop up to 57 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 6.2 A. Motors are protected to IP55, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on hotel plant rooms and schools and universities sites, plus high-rise apartments duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • Two Grundfos CRNE 10-4 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP55.
  • Each main pump is rated 1.5 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
