Product Overview
Day spas and compact medical centres running half a dozen outlets at once get a constant-pressure answer in this Grundfos Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 3-4 set. Everything is ordered under the single part number 99752116.
The system supports flow rates up to 156 L/min. It can develop up to 37 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.
Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 2.28 A. Motors are protected to IP55, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Expect it on hotel plant rooms and schools and universities sites, plus hospitals duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.
Features
- Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
- Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP55.
- Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
- The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
- The system pairs two CRNE 3-4 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
- An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
- Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
- Rated 0.37 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
- The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
- Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
