Product Overview
Mixed-use buildings where a single booster covers retail, offices and apartments get a constant-pressure answer in this Grundfos Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 10-1 set. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 99614375.
This set provides up to 756 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 13 metres of head where required. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.
The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 1 x 200-240 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 10 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Typical duty sits with hotel plant rooms, industrial process supply and schools and universities. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.
Features
- Rated 0.55 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
- Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
- Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
- Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
- Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
- Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
- Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
- Three Grundfos CRE 10-1 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
