Product Overview

In hotels whose kitchen, laundry and bath peak collide at six in the morning, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 15-2 answers with three CRE 15-2 pumps operating in parallel. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 99614448.

Flow capacity reaches 1321 L/min. Up to 40 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 100 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 13.3 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Its home ground covers industrial process supply, schools and universities and aged-care complexes. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • At P2 each main pump is 2.2 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • The system pairs three CRE 15-2 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 100 mm manifold connections.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
