Product Overview

Where apartment towers, hotel plant rooms and school wings with real morning demand spikes are served from a single booster, the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE64-1 holds pressure steady as three CRE 64-1 pumps respond to changing flow. Quote part number 93320263 to have it arrive pre-configured and ready for the plant room.

Flow capacity reaches 4718 L/min. Up to 47 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 200 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 40.9 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Typical duty sits with industrial process supply, mixed-use commercial buildings and schools and universities. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.

Features

  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Rated 7.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 200 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Three Grundfos CRE 64-1 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
