Product Overview

In distribution depots and cold stores running continuous hose-down stations, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE64-2-1 answers with three CRE 64-2 pumps operating in parallel. Part number 93320265 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

The system supports flow rates up to 5212 L/min. It can develop up to 74 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 200 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 96 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Typical duty sits with schools and universities, hospitals and aged-care complexes. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.

Features

  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 200 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • The system pairs three CRE 64-2 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Rated 18.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
