Product Overview

The Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE64-3-2 is a proven fit for apartment towers, hotel plant rooms and school wings with real morning demand spikes, with three Grundfos CRE 64-3 pumps staged automatically as demand varies. One factory-tested package replaces a shelf of loose components; order part number 93320271 to put it on site.

This set provides up to 5111 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 101 metres of head where required. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 200 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 132 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 16 bar.

Applications include hotel plant rooms, aged-care complexes and high-rise apartments. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Rated 22 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 200 mm manifold connections.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Three Grundfos CRE 64-3 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
