The Grundfos JP 4-54 is a self-priming jet pump designed for domestic water supply, garden irrigation, and water transfer applications. Its strong suction capability allows it to efficiently draw water from wells, ground tanks, and below-ground sources where the pump is installed above the water level.
The pump features a stainless steel housing (AISI 304) combined with a composite impeller (PPO-20GF), ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The built-in ejector with guide vanes enhances self-priming performance and enables stable operation even when handling air-liquid mixtures during priming.
According to the performance data, the pump operates at a rated flow of 4 m³/h with a corresponding head of 46 metres. It achieves a maximum head of 50 metres at shut-off conditions, as shown in the performance table and curve. The pump supports a suction lift of up to 8 metres, making it suitable for typical domestic installations.
The unit is powered by a 0.746 kW electric motor operating on a 1 x 230 V, 50 Hz supply, with a rated current of 5.1 Amps. It includes built-in thermal protection to prevent overheating and features sealed, grease-for-life ball bearings for quiet and maintenance-free operation.
