Product Overview
Institutional HVAC plant rooms and central cooling stations incorporate the Grundfos NB 40-200/177 centrifugal pump. Fitted with a 0.75 kW motor, system piping interfaces through an axial DN 65 suction port and a radial DN 40 discharge flange.
Total pumping volume delivers approx. 413 L/Min maximum throughput with a maximum head threshold of approx. 9.8 m. Housing construction features cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron, accommodating a stainless steel impeller and a BQQE mechanical seal. Net weight measures 48 kg.
Rated electrical supply of 415 V three-phase powers the 0.75 kW motor with an amperage draw of 1.6 Amps. Fluid temperature capabilities range from -25°C to 120°C under working pressure limits up to 16 bar. Flange interfaces are dimensioned at DN 65 inlet and DN 40 outlet.
Physical protection includes an IP55 enclosure rating alongside Class F motor insulation. External motor overload protection must be provided by the installer. The back-pull-out construction allows extraction of the motor and rotating components without disturbing suction or discharge pipe connections.
Features
- Balanced impeller geometry and shaft construction reduce operational vibration throughout duty range.
- Volute casing design incorporates integral base feet for direct mounting to concrete plinths.
- Internal wear rings retain hydraulic clearance tolerances throughout long service cycles.
- Solid stub shaft supported by sealed ball bearings carries axial and radial loads.
- Standard PN16 flanged port interfaces align with EN1092-2 heating and cooling headers.
- Totally enclosed fan cooled IEC motor maximum flow of S1 duty cycles in ambient environments up to 40°C.
- Service-friendly back-pull-out layout enables rotating element servicing without removing pipework.
