Product Overview

Central plant room heating manifolds and water circuits feature the Grundfos NB 80-200/196 end-suction pump. Coupled to a 4 kW motor drive, fluid enters through an axial DN 100 suction port and exits through a radial DN 80 discharge flange.

Hydraulic delivery parameter achieves approx. 1940 L/Min fluid discharge and develops approx. 12.7 m maximum head. Constructed with an EN-GJL-250 cast iron volute protected by cataphoretic electrocoating, internal hydraulics feature a stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Net weight is 107 kg.

Electrical input of 415 V three-phase operates the motor with a current demand of 8.47 Amps for 4 kW. Working tolerances accommodate fluid temperatures spanning -25°C to 120°C at pressures reaching 16 bar. Flanged connections feature DN 100 inlet and DN 80 outlet dimensions.

Drive unit housing incorporates an IP55 protection rating and Class F thermal insulation. Because built-in thermal protection is not included, external motor overload protection must be supplied. Maintenance is streamlined via a back-pull-out arrangement allowing rotating element removal while the casing remains connected to piping.

Features

  • Continuous duty S1 rated electric drive motor operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
  • Back-pull-out layout permits motor and impeller servicing without breaking pipe connections.
  • Integral casing support feet provide direct anchoring to plant room inertia bases and plinths.
  • Precision balanced rotating components reduce hydraulic noise and mechanical shaft deflection.
  • Renewable casing wear rings retain pump efficiency and avoid direct volute casing wear.
  • Solid shaft assembly with sealed ball bearings absorbs operational hydraulic and radial forces.
  • EN1092-2 flanged connections conform to standard PN16 pipework dimensions.
