Product Overview

Cast iron pump housing and motor shell construction provide the structural foundation for the SEV.80.100.110.2.50B. This submersible wastewater pump is intended for sewage collection systems and municipal networks processing grey water with a pH value between 4 and 10. The system handles contaminated liquids containing organic solids in both dry and submerged installation environments. This unit supports high-volume wastewater transfer and effluent pumping where reliable solids passage and liquid temperature management up to 40°C are required for continuous duty.

Hydraulic capacity is provided by an 11 kW motor operating on a 415v three-phase supply with a rated current of 20.8 Amps. This model achieves a maximum flow of 2166 L/Min and reaches a maximum head of 41.1 m to satisfy elevation requirements in pressurized sewer mains and lift stations. The motor operates at 2935 rpm, maintaining torque and hydraulic stability throughout the service cycle in drainage stations. Electrical connection is established via a 15-metre Lyniflex power cable, facilitating distribution for sub-surface wastewater handling applications.

Internal centrifugal design utilizes a SuperVortex impeller configuration to facilitate the passage of solids in suspension. This design handles particles up to 80 mm in diameter, preventing the internal clogging that could otherwise compromise volumetric efficiency over long-term service. By utilizing a vortex flow path, the unit minimizes internal friction and vibration to protect the rotating assembly during prolonged discharge. The impeller handles liquids containing organic materials to maintain operational flow behavior in wastewater collection pits and pump stations.

Mechanical stability is achieved through a heavy-duty cast iron body and motor shell with an IP68 protection rating for permanent dry or submerged installations. Longevity is anchored by a double mechanical shaft seal arrangement featuring a SiC/SiC primary seal and CER/CARNBR secondary seal in an oil bath for motor protection. This unit includes integrated thermal sensors for motor monitoring and protection against electrical fluctuations. The architectural casting features a DN 80 inlet and DN 100 outlet size for integration into standard wastewater infrastructure.

Features

What discharge flow rate does this pump maintain during peak operation?

Moving liquid through the system, the Grundfos SEV.80.100.110.2.50B maintains an operational throughput of up to 2166 L/Min during peak demand.

How much pumping height does this pump provide?

Dynamic lift generated by the SEV.80.100.110.2.50B reaches a maximum elevation head of approximately 41.1 m across discharge lines.

What motor power rating and running current power this pump?

Connecting across 415 V three-phase lines, the SEV-80-100-110-2-50B draws approximately 20.8 Amps with an efficient 11 kW motor.

How does the impeller design prevent ragging and blockages?

Spherical solids and particulate up to 80 mm pass freely through the SEV 80 100 110 2 50B, thanks to its debris-resistant runner.

How does this pump connect to standard plumbing and flanged lines?

Discharge pipework interfaces directly with the SEV/80/100/110/2/50B through a standard auto-coupling for quick field installation.
