Product Overview
High-capacity sewage transfer applications demand robust pumping solutions capable of handling large volumes at significant heads. The Grundfos SL.100.240.2.52S.N.51D.A.T meets these requirements with its heavy-duty cast iron construction and Open S-Tube impeller. Operating on a 24 kW 415V motor drawing 49 Amps, this two-pole submersible pump delivers 5,334 L/min flow at 55.6 m head. The system maintains stable performance across temperatures from -10 to 40°C in collection pits and lift stations.
Hydraulic capacity is driven by a 24 kW motor operating on a 415v three-phase supply with a rated current of 49 Amps. This configuration generates a maximum flow of 5,334 L/min and achieves a maximum head of 55.6 m for high-volume transfer applications. The motor utilizes a star-delta starting method to manage peak electrical loads and ensure circulation stability during initial activation cycles. Consistent pressure behavior supports infrastructure in pressurized collection networks.
Internal fluid paths feature an Open S-Tube impeller designed for the free passage of solids in suspension. This centrifugal configuration facilitates the movement of contaminated liquids without internal clogging that compromises volumetric efficiency over long-term service. By utilizing a high-efficiency hydraulic profile, the unit minimizes internal friction and vibration to protect the rotating assembly during wastewater transfer. The Open S-Tube design is intended for sewage transfer where reliable solids handling is required.
Mechanical construction utilizes a heavy-duty cast iron housing and motor shell with an IP68 protection rating for depths up to 20 m. Longevity is anchored by a silicon carbide primary shaft seal and a silicon carbide/carbon secondary seal in an oil bath for motor insulation. This model includes integrated thermistors and moisture sensors to facilitate proactive monitoring of the motor assembly. The casting includes DN 100 inlet and outlet connections for integration into standard wastewater collection infrastructure.
Features
