Product Overview
Designed for large-scale municipal infrastructure, the Grundfos SL.56H.320.4.50D.150 is intended for permanent submerged installation in wastewater treatment plants. This cast iron unit holds CE EN12050-1 certification with ROHS and WEEE environmental approvals. It is suitable for handling raw effluents containing large solids at temperatures up to 40°C.
The pump incorporates a 32 kW 4-pole motor running at 1490 rpm on a 3 x 415 V supply. Operating with a rated current of 65.5 Amps, it achieves a maximum flow up to 9180 L/min and a maximum head up to 45 m. The motor is rated for continuous S1 duty and uses the surrounding media for thermal cooling during operation.
The hydraulic system uses an Open S-tube impeller with a 371.2 mm actual diameter for managing untreated wastewater. The nominal duty head is 27.64 m. Featuring a DN 200 inlet and a DN 150 (6") outlet, this hydraulic design supports high-volume wastewater transfer while reducing the risk of clogging in municipal collection networks.
Built with an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing and motor casing, the pump features double mechanical shaft seals and integrated PTO sensors for motor protection and monitoring. It is supplied with a 10-metre S1BC4N8-F EMC power cable and an IP68 enclosure suitable for installation depths up to 30 metres. The unit is compatible with the Grundfos auto-coupling system (97695489).

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
