Product Overview
Delivering consistent water pressure across multiple outlets is a common challenge in residential and light commercial settings. The Lowara 3HM04P-PT8 addresses this with a complete packaged system combining a robust multistage pump with an 8-litre APT pressure vessel, ensuring stable flow for domestic distribution, garden irrigation, and small commercial installations where mains pressure is variable.
The pump body is constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, with Noryl™ impellers optimised for clean-water handling. Performance reaches a maximum head of approximately 40.3 metres and a maximum flow rate of 70 litres per minute. The 0.5 kW motor operates on 220-240 V single-phase, drawing 3.34 Amps at rated conditions. Connections are threaded Rp 25 mm. The pump is rated for liquids up to 60°C.
An 8-litre APT pressure vessel is integrated to reduce pump cycling and maintain pressure stability during low-demand periods. The mechanical seal is a ceramic, carbon, and EPDM assembly. The motor enclosure is IP55, with Class F insulation. Thermal protection is provided by an automatic reset overload device. The horizontal close-coupled configuration simplifies installation in confined equipment spaces.
The unit is floor-mounted and supplied with a pre-wired terminal junction box. The pump is certified for drinking water use under WRAS and ACS. The system is intended for clean water applications and should be installed in a well-ventilated, frost-protected location. The compact assembly minimises the required installation footprint.

What dynamic head pressure is produced by this packaged booster pumping system?
Operating across property water supply networks, the 3HM04P-PT8 achieves a maximum dynamic head rating of approximately 40.3 m for reliable distribution.
What pipe sizes attach to the inlet and outlet connections and how much flow is supplied?
Water lines couple to Rp 25 mm (1") discharge and Rp 25 mm (1") suction, enabling the 3HM04P-PT-8 to generate a peak delivery flow of approximately 70 L/Min.
What metallurgy and hydraulic components protect this booster pump from corrosion in clean water?
Sanitary and potable water safety is delivered by AISI 304 stainless steel pump casing, Technopolymer impellers, and ceramic, carbon, and EPDM mechanical seal in the 3HM 04P PT8, certified under WRAS and ACS for clean water up to 60°C.
What motor power rating and electrical supply voltage does this packaged pressure pump require?
Operating the motor on the 3HM_04P_PT8 requires a 0.5 kW electrical feed on 220–240 V, 50 Hz, single-phase drawing 3.34 A, equipped with IP55 weather protection and thermal safety.
How does the integrated diaphragm tank benefit system operation and what surface mounting is required?
Hydraulic storage stabilization is achieved in the 3HM04P-PT8 via its built-in 8-litre APT pressure vessel, which stores water under compression to limit motor wear and allows surface floor placement.
