Product Overview
The multi-stage Lowara 2GS03 is a submersible borehole wet end within the high-performance e-GS family of pump ends. The system becomes operational once coupled to a standard 0.37 kW (0.49 HP) electric motor. It allows vertical installation in narrow wells or horizontal mounting.
With a stainless steel external casing, the pump end is constructed to resist water corrosion. The internal design has 7 stages featuring floating impellers molded from PC/PPO + PS polymer. This configuration is specified for suspended sand up to 150 grams per cubic meter.
Pairing this wet end with a standard 0.37 kW electric motor rated at 3.2 Amps on a 240 V single-phase line yields a maximum head of 42.0 m. The multi-stage pump end delivers a maximum flow of 50 L/Min via its Rp 1-1/4" (32 mm) outlet. Performance is verified under standard testing.
Maximum fluid temperature for this pump end is specified for 35°C during operation. The submersion limit is 150 meters when coupled with a 4OS motor and up to 300 meters with an L4C motor. Horizontal placement is possible up to motor-rated kilowatts. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.
FEATURES
- Equipped with 7 multi-stage floating impellers designed to minimize abrasive wear from sand particulates.
- The external sleeve is fabricated from durable stainless steel to prevent rust and prolong operating life.
- Includes a built-in stainless steel non-return valve in the discharge head to prevent damaging backflow.
- The hexagonal shaft distributes mechanical torque evenly, eliminating vulnerable keyed connections.
- Features precision-cast stainless steel upper and lower brackets to maintain alignment with the motor.
- Complies fully with the Minimum Efficiency Index threshold of 0.40 under European ErP directives.
- Designed to safely handle water temperatures up to 35°C in continuous underwater applications.

Does this borehole pumping unit include a check valve and support horizontal orientations?
Preventing line drainage during shutdown, the 2GS03 incorporates an integrated stainless-steel non-return valve in the head and supports horizontal mounting at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest and a cooling sleeve.
How high will this submersible borehole unit push water from an underground well source?
To overcome deep well elevation head, the 2GS-03 attains a maximum dynamic head of approximately 42.0 m, providing constant pressure at ground level.
What pipe thread size is on the top delivery outlet and what peak flow does it provide?
Connecting the delivery pipe to the pump's 32 mm (Rp 1-1/4") port allows the 2 GS 03 to discharge up to approximately 50 L/Min inside standard 4-inch (100 mm) or larger borehole casings.
What materials provide corrosion resistance and grit protection in this bore pump?
Advanced metallurgy using stainless-steel with floating impellers ensures the 2_GS_03 prevents corrosive surface damage and manages abrasive particles up to 150 g/m³.
What voltage parameters and motor power rating are needed to operate this pump?
Powering the 2GS03 requires coupling to a 0.37 kW motor on 220–240 V, 50 Hz, single-phase (while also supporting 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase motor configurations).
