Product Overview
The Lowara 2GS11 pump end is a multi-stage hydraulic wet end designed for borehole extraction in the e-GS range. Starting operation requires coupling the unit with a 1.1 kW (1.47 HP) motor. Standard structural configuration allows vertical mounting or horizontal deployment.
The pump end uses a stainless steel external casing to prevent corrosion. The floating impeller system incorporates 20 stages fabricated from wear-resistant polymer. This multi-stage setup handles suspended sand up to a maximum of 150 grams per cubic meter.
Coupled with the required 1.1 kW motor drawing a nominal current of 7.6 Amps on 240 V single-phase supply, the pump end achieves a maximum head of 119.0 m. This system provides a maximum flow of 50 L/Min via its Rp 1-1/4" (32 mm) connection. Operating curves are fully validated.
This borehole pump end is specified for water temperatures up to 35°C. The unit is specified for deep immersion up to 150 meters with a 4OS motor or 300 meters with an L4C motor. Horizontal operation is possible with 4OS motors up to 2.2 kW and L4C motors up to 7.5 kW. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.

What construction materials prevent corrosion and abrasive wear in this pump?
Durability against corrosion and particulate erosion is achieved by the 2GS11 through stainless-steel with floating impellers, tolerating sand up to 150 g/m³.
Which voltage source and motor power rating are required for this borehole unit?
Operating the 2GS-11 wet end requires pairing with a 1.1 kW motor on 220–240 V, 50 Hz, single-phase (while supporting 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase motor alternatives).
Is a built-in non-return valve included in the head and is horizontal placement supported?
Safeguarding the delivery line, an integrated stainless-steel non-return valve is built into the 2 GS 11 head, with horizontal installation supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest and a cooling sleeve.
What total dynamic pumping height can this underground water unit overcome?
Under deep borehole duties, the 2_GS_11 produces a maximum dynamic head of approximately 119.0 m to move groundwater up to ground level facilities.
What thread connection fits the delivery outlet and what maximum flow volume is produced?
Water delivery is channeled through the 32 mm (Rp 1-1/4") discharge port, with the 2GS11 providing a peak flow of approximately 50 L/Min when installed in standard 4-inch (100 mm) or larger borehole casings.
