Product Overview
Designed for borehole applications, the Lowara 2GS15 represents a high-efficiency hydraulic wet end within the e-GS line. This pump end must be coupled with a 1.5 kW (2.0 HP) motor to become fully operational. Standard well installation is vertical, though horizontal deployment is permissible.
An outer sleeve of stainless steel protects the multi-stage hydraulic pathways. The assembly utilizes 28 floating impellers made of PC/PPO + PS polymer components. The system handles suspended sand up to a maximum concentration of 150 grams per cubic meter.
Pairing this multi-stage wet end with a compatible 1.5 kW motor (rated at 10.5 Amps on a 240 V single-phase connection) enables a maximum head of 167.0 m. The pump end delivers a maximum flow of 50 L/Min through its Rp 1-1/4" (32 mm) outlet. Flow parameters follow manufacturer data.
The pump end is specified for continuous water temperatures up to a maximum of 35°C. Submergence limits are 150 meters with 4OS motors and up to 300 meters with L4C motor options. Horizontal installation is possible up to standard motor-rated power limits. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.
FEATURES

What electrical voltage and kilowatt power are needed to power this deep well pump?
Supplying power to the 2GS15 wet end requires a 1.5 kW motor configured for 220–240 V, 50 Hz, single-phase (with 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase motor capability supported).
Does this borehole unit feature an integrated check valve and can it be angled horizontally?
Reverse water drainage is prevented by an integrated stainless-steel non-return valve in the 2GS-15 discharge head, and horizontal mounting is supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest and a cooling sleeve.
How far can this borehole unit push water vertically out of deep subterranean shafts?
Elevating water from subterranean reservoirs, the 2 GS 15 achieves a maximum dynamic head capability of approximately 167.0 m with high hydraulic efficiency.
What size pipe connects to the pump outlet head and what flow rate can be expected?
Riser piping couples to the 32 mm (Rp 1-1/4") outlet thread, allowing the 2_GS_15 to achieve a maximum flow capacity of approximately 50 L/Min inside standard 4-inch (100 mm) or larger borehole casings.
How does this deep well submersible pump resist corrosion and wear from sand?
The stainless-steel with floating impellers metallurgy in the 2GS15 protects against groundwater oxidation and ensures reliable operation with sand up to 150 g/m³.
