Product Overview

The multi-stage Lowara 4GS11 is a submersible borehole wet end within the high-performance e-GS family of pump ends. The system becomes operational once coupled to a standard 1.1 kW (1.47 HP) electric motor. It allows vertical installation in narrow wells or horizontal mounting.

With a stainless steel external casing, the pump end is constructed to resist water corrosion. The internal design has 14 stages featuring floating impellers molded from PC/PPO + PS polymer. This configuration is specified for suspended sand up to 150 grams per cubic meter.

Pairing this wet end with a standard 1.1 kW electric motor rated at 7.6 Amps on a 240 V single-phase line yields a maximum head of 84.0 m. The multi-stage pump end delivers a maximum flow of 90 L/Min via its Rp 1-1/4" (32 mm) outlet. Performance is verified under standard testing.

Maximum fluid temperature for this pump end is specified for 35°C during operation. The submersion limit is 150 meters when coupled with a 4OS motor and up to 300 meters with an L4C motor. Horizontal placement is possible up to motor-rated kilowatts. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.

FEATURES

  • Equipped with 14 multi-stage floating impellers designed to minimize abrasive wear from sand particulates.
  • The external sleeve is fabricated from durable stainless steel to prevent rust and prolong operating life.
  • Includes a built-in stainless steel non-return valve in the discharge head to prevent damaging backflow.
  • The hexagonal shaft distributes mechanical torque evenly, eliminating vulnerable keyed connections.
  • Features precision-cast stainless steel upper and lower brackets to maintain alignment with the motor.
  • Complies fully with the Minimum Efficiency Index threshold of 0.40 under European ErP directives.
  • Designed to safely handle water temperatures up to 35°C in continuous underwater applications.

Does this submersible unit incorporate a check valve and permit horizontal installation?

Limiting reverse flow during shutdown, the 4GS11 features an integrated stainless-steel non-return valve in the discharge head and supports horizontal mounting at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest and a cooling sleeve.

How high can this extraction pump push water up from an underground borehole?

Borehole lifting operations are powered by the 4GS-11, which delivers a peak dynamic head of approximately 84.0 m from subterranean aquifers.

What diameter pipe connects to the top outlet and what is the highest flow volume?

Plumbing lines attach directly to the 32 mm (Rp 1-1/4") delivery outlet, where the 4 GS 11 delivers a maximum flow capacity of approximately 90 L/Min inside standard 4-inch (100 mm) or larger borehole casings.

Is this deep well pump built with corrosion-resistant alloys for underground longevity?

Hydraulic longevity in mineral-laden water is assured by stainless-steel with floating impellers in the 4_GS_11, which manages sand concentrations up to 150 g/m³.

What are the required electrical power and voltage specifications for this unit?

Coupling the 4GS11 pump end requires a 1.1 kW motor powered by 220–240 V, 50 Hz, single-phase (with 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase motor variants supported).
