Product Overview

The Lowara 4GS30 pump end is a multi-stage hydraulic wet end designed for borehole extraction in the e-GS range. Starting operation requires coupling the unit with a 3.0 kW (4.0 HP) motor. Standard structural configuration allows vertical mounting or horizontal deployment.

The pump end uses a stainless steel external casing to prevent corrosion. The floating impeller system incorporates 35 stages fabricated from wear-resistant polymer. This multi-stage setup handles suspended sand up to a maximum of 150 grams per cubic meter.

Coupled with the required 3.0 kW motor drawing a nominal current of 7.1 Amps on 415 V three-phase supply, the pump end achieves a maximum head of 204.0 m. This system provides a maximum flow of 90 L/Min via its Rp 1-1/4" (32 mm) connection. Operating curves are fully validated.

This borehole pump end is specified for water temperatures up to 35°C. The unit is specified for deep immersion up to 150 meters with a 4OS motor or 300 meters with an L4C motor. Horizontal operation is possible with 4OS motors up to 2.2 kW and L4C motors up to 7.5 kW. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.

FEATURES

  • Features 35 multi-stage floating impellers to drastically limit wear and abrasion from suspended sand particles.
  • Constructed with a sturdy stainless steel outer sleeve to limit corrosion and protect internal hydraulic components.

Does this borehole extraction pump provide reliable corrosion and grit defense?

Subterranean chemical resistance is reinforced by stainless-steel with floating impellers throughout the 4GS30, which tolerates abrasive sand content up to 150 g/m³.

Which electrical voltage and kilowatt power are specified to operate this borehole pump?

Electrical operation involves pairing the 4GS-30 wet end with a 3.0 kW motor on 220–240 V, 50 Hz, single-phase (while supporting 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase motor configurations).

Is a check valve built into the delivery head and can this pump be mounted horizontally?

Housed within the delivery casing, an integrated stainless-steel non-return valve protects the 4 GS 30 from backflow, and horizontal operation is permitted at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest and a cooling sleeve.

What total head height does this borehole water extraction unit reach during operation?

Water raising from deep borehole installations is led by the 4_GS_30, which provides a maximum dynamic head of approximately 204.0 m.

What size plumbing pipe attaches to the top head and what is the maximum flow rate?

Surface piping connects directly to the 32 mm (Rp 1-1/4") delivery outlet, where the 4GS30 maintains a maximum flow rate of approximately 90 L/Min in standard 4-inch (100 mm) or larger borehole casings.
