Product Overview
Designed for deep-well groundwater supply, agricultural irrigation and town water networks, the 4ZN612/4 is a four-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible installations. Its staged hydraulic arrangement provides the lift required for extracting clean groundwater from deeper borehole systems while maintaining a maximum flow capability of 275 L/Min.
The ZN6 pump end is built in AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel used for the impellers and diffusers. Removable wear rings allow the hydraulic clearances to be serviced, while the rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. This construction is specified for clean water containing suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
With a C4S submersible motor, the assembly is suitable for operation up to 60°C and can reach a maximum head of 45 metres. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B, with water discharged through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) connection. The pump end uses a standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection and permits maximum immersion of 300 metres when used with a C4S motor.
Installation is supported by a microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support, with an integrated stainless steel non-return valve helping manage backflow within the discharge assembly. Safety-hook holes are incorporated into the discharge head for lowering and securing the pump end during borehole installation.
FEATURES
- Removable wear rings make the radial hydraulic stages serviceable during maintenance.
- Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft provides the rotating assembly with the specified mechanical strength.
- AISI 316L impellers and diffusers provide the specified stainless-steel hydraulic construction.
- The Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling provides a replaceable connection for the motor assembly.
- AISI 316L tie rods and cable guard support the pump-end construction and installation arrangement.
- The integrated stainless steel non-return valve provides backflow control at the discharge.
- The ASTM CF-8M microcast discharge head and lower support provide the specified structural arrangement for borehole installation.
* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

Which motor kilowatt power and electrical supply voltage are required for this unit?
Operating the 4ZN612/4 pump end requires coupling to a 4-inch NEMA standard C4S submersible motor rated at 2.2 kW on a 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase power supply, drawing approximately 6.1 A, with operating water temperatures supported up to 60°C and immersion depth up to 300 meters.
Is a non-return valve integrated into the outlet and can this pump operate horizontally?
Reverse flow protection in the 4ZN612-4 is provided by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the microcast ASTM CF-8M discharge head, while horizontal mounting is supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor at the lowest position.
Is this submersible bore unit engineered to lift water up from deep subterranean reservoirs?
Designed for substantial vertical lifts, the 4 ZN 612 4 delivers a maximum dynamic head rating of approximately 45.4 m to push water from deep well shafts.
Which connection size is on the pump head and what maximum delivery rate is achieved?
The top outlet incorporates a Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) threaded connection, with the 4_ZN_612_4 supplying a peak flow volume of approximately 275 L/Min in standard 6-inch borehole installations.
Is this submersible borehole pump built with corrosion-resistant stainless components?
Protecting against aggressive borehole minerals, the 4ZN612/4 incorporates AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling, providing wear resistance against sand up to 100 g/m³.
