Product Overview
For deep groundwater supply and borehole installations requiring greater hydraulic lift, the 4ZN612/6 provides a six-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible installations. Its six-stage configuration increases the available head while retaining the 275 L/Min maximum flow rating of the range.
The pump end follows the ZN6 AISI 316 stainless steel construction, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. The shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803, while the replaceable coupling uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The specified construction permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ and, when matched with a C4S motor, supports operation up to 60°C.
Maximum head is 68 metres, with hydraulic performance specified according to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Water is delivered through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection, while the standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection allows the pump end to be coupled with a C4S submersible motor. Maximum immersion depth is 300 metres when used with the C4S motor.
The discharge assembly combines a microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support with an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Holes provided for safety-hook attachment assist with lowering and securing the pump end during deep borehole installation.
FEATURES
- The six radial stages provide greater hydraulic lift than the lower-stage configuration while retaining the specified flow rating.
- AISI 316L impellers and diffusers provide the corrosion-resistant hydraulic surfaces specified for the ZN6 construction.
- Removable wear rings allow the hydraulic clearances to be serviced as required.
- The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft provides the specified material strength for the rotating assembly.
- AISI 316L tie rods, cable guard and strainer form part of the stainless-steel pump-end arrangement.
- The integrated stainless steel non-return valve is positioned within the discharge assembly for backflow control.
- The microcast discharge head provides the structural connection and safety-hook provisions required for installation.
* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

Does this borehole pumping unit include a check valve and support horizontal orientations?
Preventing line drainage during shutdown, the 4ZN612/6 incorporates an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the microcast ASTM CF-8M discharge head and permits horizontal installation at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.
What total dynamic pumping height can this underground water unit overcome?
To overcome deep well elevation head, the 4ZN612-6 attains a maximum dynamic head of approximately 68 m, providing constant pressure at ground level.
What pipe thread size is on the top delivery outlet and what peak flow does it provide?
Connecting the delivery pipe to the pump's Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) port allows the 4 ZN 612 6 to discharge up to approximately 275 L/Min inside standard 6-inch borehole installations.
What materials provide corrosion resistance and grit protection in this bore pump?
Advanced metallurgy using AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling ensures the 4_ZN_612_6 prevents corrosive surface damage and manages abrasive particles up to 100 g/m³.
What voltage parameters and motor power rating are needed to operate this pump?
Electrical operation involves pairing the 4ZN612/6 with a 4-inch NEMA C4S motor rated at 3 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase pulling 7.1 A, rated for water temperatures up to 60°C and submersion to 300 meters.
