Product Overview
The 4ZN616/3 is a three-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch borehole installations where a compact hydraulic configuration is required for reliable water delivery. With a maximum flow of 367 L/Min and a maximum head of 36 metres, it is suited to high-volume water transfer duties where moderate lift is required.
The ZN6 pump end is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel used for the impellers and diffusers. Removable wear rings provide a serviceable hydraulic arrangement, while the Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 shaft and replaceable Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304 coupling form the rotating and motor-connection components. The construction is specified for clean water containing suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
When assembled with a C4S submersible motor, the pump end can operate with water temperatures up to 60°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection provides the discharge, while the standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection allows coupling to the C4S motor. Maximum immersion is 300 metres when used with a C4S motor.
The discharge arrangement incorporates a microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support, together with an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes are provided for controlled lowering and securing during borehole installation.
FEATURES
- Three radial hydraulic stages provide the specified lift for moderate-head borehole applications.
- AISI 316L impellers and diffusers form the stainless-steel hydraulic stages.
- Removable wear rings provide service access to the hydraulic clearances.
- The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft supports the rotating assembly.
- The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling provides the specified motor connection.
- AISI 316L tie rods and cable guard form part of the external pump-end construction.
- The microcast discharge assembly incorporates the lower support and stainless steel non-return valve.
* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

Is this borehole pump engineered with corrosion-resistant metallurgy for deep wells?
Groundwater oxidation is prevented by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling metallurgy, enabling the 4ZN616/3 to perform reliably with sand up to 100 g/m³.
What electrical power source and voltage parameters are required for this pump?
The submersible drive for the 4ZN616-3 specifies a 4-inch NEMA C4S motor delivering 2.2 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase at 5.6 A, accommodating temperatures up to 60°C and immersion to 300 meters.
Does this submersible pump include an integrated non-return valve for inclined positions?
Line draining is prevented by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the 4 ZN 616 3 microcast discharge outlet, supporting horizontal mounting at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor in the lowest position.
What vertical height capacity does this deep well borehole unit offer for water transfer?
Raising groundwater through tall well shafts, the 4_ZN_616_3 achieves a maximum dynamic head of approximately 36.6 m for consistent property supply.
What size riser pipe threads onto the discharge head and what maximum flow is delivered?
Plumbing connects to the pump outlet through a Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) threaded port, where the 4ZN616/3 achieves a maximum flow capacity of approximately 367 L/Min inside standard 6-inch borehole installations.
