Product Overview

The six-stage 4ZN616/6 is configured for borehole installations where greater hydraulic lift is required while retaining the 367 L/Min maximum flow of the ZN6 range. With a maximum head of 73 metres, it provides a practical wet-end configuration for groundwater supply systems.

AISI 316 stainless steel forms the pump-end construction, while the impellers and diffusers use AISI 316L stainless steel and incorporate removable wear rings. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803, and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. Suspended sand concentrations up to 100 g/m³ are permitted.

When coupled to a C4S submersible motor, the installation supports water temperatures up to 60°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The discharge uses the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection, with a standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection and maximum immersion of 300 metres with a C4S motor.

The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support include an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes provide attachment points for lowering and securing the pump end during installation.

FEATURES

  • Six radial stages provide increased lift for groundwater supply.
  • AISI 316L impellers and diffusers form the specified hydraulic stages.
  • Removable wear rings allow hydraulic clearances to be serviced.
  • The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft supports the rotating assembly.
  • The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling provides the specified motor connection.
  • AISI 316L tie rods and cable guard complete the external construction.
  • The microcast discharge arrangement incorporates the non-return valve and lower support.

* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

What maximum dynamic head rating can this deep well extraction unit achieve?

Providing excellent vertical lift performance, the 4ZN616/6 attains a maximum dynamic head of approximately 73.6 m from deep well water tables.

What delivery connection thread size is standard and what maximum flow is attained?

Water is transferred out via the Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) delivery port, through which the 4ZN616-6 supplies a peak flow rate of approximately 367 L/Min in standard 6-inch borehole installations.

How does this borehole pump resist corrosion and particulate erosion underground?

Long-term subterranean durability is achieved by the 4 ZN 616 6 through AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling construction, managing abrasive particles up to 100 g/m³.

What are the electrical specifications and supply voltage requirements for this unit?

Motor coupling requirements for the 4_ZN_616_6 mandate a 4-inch NEMA C4S motor rated at 5.5 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase pulling 13.2 A, supporting water up to 60°C and immersion depths to 300 meters.

Is a non-return valve incorporated into the outlet head and does it allow horizontal mounting?

Reverse water surges are controlled by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve inside the 4ZN616/6 head, permitting horizontal installation at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor positioned lowest.
