Product Overview
Providing standard hydraulic performance, the Lowara 4ZN660/2 is a standalone borehole wet end within the Z6 Series range. It is essential to pair this standalone pump end with a compatible 4 kW electric motor for deep-well water supply. The physical structure is designed for standard vertical placement inside standard 6-inch casings. It is suitable for industrial water transfer networks and water distribution setups.
To support long-term physical stability during operation, the structural sleeve and discharge head are engineered from cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel. The multi-stage centrifugal hydraulic assembly consists of 2 stages, each incorporating an AISI 316L stainless steel radial impeller. The integrated radial impellers are designed to limit abrasive wear from sand particles, supporting water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand.
Once paired with its designated 4 kW electric motor (nominal current rating of 10.2 Amps), the coupled assembly achieves up to 21 m maximum head. This multi-stage hydraulic wet end generates a maximum flow of 1,300 L/Min through its Rp 80 mm threaded connection. All performance parameters are in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.
The pump has a maximum external diameter of 142 mm for installation inside standard 6-inch borehole wells. Maximum pump immersion depth is 300 m when used with C4S motors and 350 m when used with L6W motors. The lower support bracket incorporates a standard 4" NEMA-compliant mount for simple mechanical motor integration. Safe coupling requires correct mechanical alignment of the pump shaft and the motor shaft during mechanical coupling.

How does this borehole pump endure corrosive well conditions and abrasive particulates?
Subterranean mineral durability is ensured through AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling construction, allowing the 4ZN660/2 to safely manage sand up to 100 g/m³.
What electrical power source and voltage specifications apply to this borehole pump?
Electrical connection specifies a 4-inch NEMA C4S submersible motor rated for 4 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase drawing 10.2 A for the 4ZN660-2, supporting water temperatures up to 60°C and immersion to 300 meters.
Does this submersible pump feature a built-in check valve and allow inclined mounting?
Reverse water surges are controlled by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve inside the 4 ZN 660 2 head, permitting horizontal installation at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor positioned lowest.
What vertical pumping elevation can be achieved using this submersible bore unit?
Deep subterranean water raising is accomplished by the 4_ZN_660_2, which yields a maximum dynamic head of approximately 21 m under full load.
What size discharge pipe attaches to the outlet and what peak flow volume can be pumped?
Discharge plumbing couples directly to the Rp 3" (80 mm) port, enabling the 4ZN660/2 to maintain a maximum flow rate of approximately 1300 L/Min within standard 6-inch borehole installations.
