Product Overview
For commercial groundwater supply and public water networks requiring substantial borehole lift, the ZN612/12 provides a twelve-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible installations. Its staged hydraulic configuration provides a maximum flow of 275 L/Min while increasing the available head for pressure supply duties.
The ZN6 pump-end construction uses AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. A Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 shaft drives the rotating assembly, and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. With the standard L6W motor, operating water temperature is limited to 35°C and suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.
Maximum head is 136 metres, with hydraulic performance specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The standard Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded delivery connection serves as the outlet, while a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection permits coupling with an L6W submersible motor. Maximum immersion depth is 350 metres when used with L6W motors.
The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes in the discharge head provide for attachment during installation, allowing the pump end to be lowered and secured within the borehole.
FEATURES
- The twelve-stage radial configuration provides the additional hydraulic lift required for commercial groundwater supply.
- Removable wear rings allow the hydraulic stages to retain a serviceable clearance arrangement.
- AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers form the specified radial hydraulic components.
- The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft provides the specified rotating-shaft construction.
- The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling forms part of the specified motor connection.
- AISI 316L tie rods and cable guard provide the specified stainless-steel external construction.
- The integrated stainless steel non-return valve is incorporated into the microcast discharge head.
* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

What voltage and kilowatt power specifications are required to run this motor?
Electrical connection specifies a 6-inch NEMA L6W submersible motor rated for 7.5 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase drawing 17 A for the ZN612/12, supporting water temperatures up to 35°C and immersion to 350 meters.
Is a non-return valve integrated into the pump head and is horizontal mounting supported?
Reverse fluid flow is arrested by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the ZN612-12 discharge head, while horizontal orientation is supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor in the lowest position.
Can this deep well water pump push water up from significant subterranean depths?
Overcoming tall vertical column drops, the ZN 612 12 generates a maximum dynamic head of approximately 136.1 m, maintaining flow across surface pipelines.
What size outlet connection is on this pump and what is the maximum discharge rate?
The top discharge connection utilizes standard Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) sizing, allowing the ZN_612_12 to achieve a peak flow rate of approximately 275 L/Min in standard 6-inch borehole installations.
What wear-resistant materials protect this submersible pump from borehole grit?
Preventing corrosion in harsh borehole installations, the ZN612/12 relies on AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling and tolerates abrasive sand up to 100 g/m³.
