Product Overview
For deep-borehole installations with high lift requirements, the ZN612/21 provides a twenty-one-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible groundwater systems. The increased number of stages provides the hydraulic lift required for deeper installations while maintaining a maximum flow of 275 L/Min.
Its ZN6 pump-end construction uses AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers fitted with removable wear rings. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. With an L6W motor, operating water temperature is limited to 35°C and suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.
The ZN612/21 achieves a maximum head of 238 metres and has hydraulic performance specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The standard Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded delivery connection provides the outlet. A standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection allows coupling with an L6W submersible motor, with maximum immersion depth of 350 metres using L6W motors.
The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes are provided in the discharge head to assist with lowering and securing the pump end during borehole installation.
FEATURES
- The twenty-one-stage radial arrangement supplies the high hydraulic lift required for deep-borehole applications.
- Removable wear rings provide serviceable hydraulic clearances within the radial stages.
- AISI 316L impellers and diffusers provide the specified stainless-steel construction of the hydraulic stages.
- The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft is selected for the rotating assembly.
- The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling provides the specified coupling material.
- AISI 316L tie rods and cable guard form part of the stainless-steel external assembly.
- The ASTM CF-8M microcast discharge head incorporates the non-return valve and lower support.
* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

Does this borehole extraction pump provide reliable corrosion and grit defense?
Subterranean chemical resistance is reinforced by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling throughout the ZN612/21, which tolerates abrasive sand content up to 100 g/m³.
Which electrical voltage and kilowatt power are specified to operate this borehole pump?
Proper motor operation for the ZN612-21 demands a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor rated for 11 kW on a 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase line at 24.2 A, rated for fluid temperatures up to 35°C and immersion to 350 meters.
Is a check valve built into the delivery head and can this pump be mounted horizontally?
The delivery outlet of the ZN 612 21 contains an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in microcast ASTM CF-8M alloy to manage backflow, while horizontal placement is supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.
How high can this deep well pump lift water when discharging up to surface tanks?
Water raising from deep borehole installations is led by the ZN_612_21, which provides a maximum dynamic head of approximately 238.7 m.
What size plumbing pipe attaches to the top head and what is the maximum flow rate?
Surface piping connects directly to the Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) delivery outlet, where the ZN612/21 maintains a maximum flow rate of approximately 275 L/Min in standard 6-inch borehole installations.
