Product Overview

For groundwater supply and commercial water distribution systems requiring very high hydraulic lift, the ZN612/24 provides a twenty-four-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch deep-borehole installations. Its high stage count provides the hydraulic lift required for demanding groundwater applications while maintaining a maximum flow of 275 L/Min.

AISI 316 stainless steel forms the ZN6 pump-end construction, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers and removable wear rings. The rotating shaft uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803, while the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. With the standard L6W motor, operating water temperature is limited to 35°C and suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.

The ZN612/24 achieves a maximum head of 273 metres and is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B for hydraulic performance. The Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection provides the delivery outlet, while a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection permits coupling with an L6W submersible motor. Maximum immersion depth is 350 metres with L6W motors.

The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate the integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Pre-drilled holes for safety-hook attachment provide the specified installation provision for lowering and securing the pump end in deep-well applications.

FEATURES

  • The twenty-four-stage radial configuration provides very high hydraulic lift for deep groundwater systems.
  • Removable wear rings provide a maintainable arrangement for the hydraulic clearances.
  • AISI 316L impellers and diffusers provide the specified stainless-steel hydraulic construction.
  • The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft is used for the rotating assembly.
  • The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling supports the specified motor coupling arrangement.
  • AISI 316L external tie rods continue the stainless-steel construction through the pump end.
  • The ASTM CF-8M microcast discharge head incorporates the lower support and integrated non-return valve.

* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

Is an integrated check valve built into the casing and can this pump operate horizontally?

Eliminating column reversal upon deactivation, the ZN612/24 provides an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the head and allows horizontal deployment at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.

Can this submersible pumping unit push water up from deep underground water tables?

For high vertical head requirements, the ZN612-24 generates a maximum dynamic head of approximately 273.1 m, ensuring reliable flow from deep boreholes.

What size connection is provided on the delivery head and what maximum flow is reached?

Piping couples to the pump's Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) outlet port, through which the ZN 612 24 discharges a maximum flow of approximately 275 L/Min within standard 6-inch borehole installations.

Is this borehole pump built with corrosion-resistant metallurgy to withstand well water?

Corrosion and abrasive grit defense are established by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling in the ZN_612_24, maintaining performance with sand up to 100 g/m³.

What electrical requirements and voltage supplies are needed to operate this unit?

Connecting the ZN612/24 to power involves a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor rated at 13 kW operating across 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase with 28.1 A current, with operating limits up to 35°C and immersion to 350 meters.
