Product Overview
For groundwater extraction, agricultural irrigation and high-volume water supply, the ZN612/8 provides an eight-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible borehole installations. Its radial hydraulic arrangement provides the required lift while maintaining a maximum flow of 275 L/Min.
Its ZN6 construction uses AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers fitted with removable wear rings. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803, while the replaceable coupling uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. Suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted, while the standard L6W motor limits operating water temperature to 35°C.
The ZN612/8 achieves a maximum head of 90 metres, with hydraulic performance specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Water is discharged through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection. A standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection permits coupling with an L6W submersible motor, with maximum immersion depth of 350 metres when used with L6W motors.
The discharge head is manufactured in microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) material and includes an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes are incorporated into the discharge head to assist with lowering and securing the pump end during deep-well installation.
FEATURES
- The eight-stage radial layout provides the hydraulic lift required for groundwater and irrigation duties.
- Removable wear rings make the hydraulic clearances serviceable when maintenance is required.
- AISI 316L impellers and diffusers provide the specified stainless-steel hydraulic construction.
- The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft is designed for the rotating assembly.
- The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling provides the specified coupling material and arrangement.
- AISI 316L tie rods and cable guard extend the stainless-steel construction around the pump end.
- The microcast discharge head combines structural support with an integrated stainless steel non-return valve.
* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

Is a non-return valve built into the discharge head and does it support horizontal setups?
Protection against backflow in the ZN612/8 is provided by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the delivery head, with horizontal mounting supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor at the lowest position.
What maximum head pressure does this deep borehole pump produce when drawing from below?
Submersible vertical water transfer is conducted by the ZN612-8, which provides a peak dynamic head of approximately 90.7 m from deep well columns.
Which diameter delivery connection is featured and how many liters does it discharge?
Plumbing attaches through the top Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) delivery port, enabling the ZN 612 8 to produce a peak flow of approximately 275 L/Min within standard 6-inch borehole installations.
Is this borehole pumping unit protected against corrosion from mineral-rich aquifers?
Borehole corrosion protection is sustained by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling in the ZN_612_8, which accommodates gritty groundwater containing sand up to 100 g/m³.
What are the power requirements and operating voltage specifications for this motor?
Operating the ZN612/8 pump end requires coupling to a 6-inch NEMA standard L6W submersible motor rated at 4 kW on a 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase power supply, drawing approximately 9.89 A, with operating water temperatures supported up to 35°C and immersion depth up to 350 meters.
