Product Overview

For deep-borehole groundwater transfer requiring additional hydraulic lift, the ZN612/9 provides a nine-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible installations. Its additional hydraulic stage provides greater lift than the eight-stage configuration while maintaining a maximum flow of 275 L/Min.

The pump end uses the ZN6 AISI 316 stainless steel construction, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. A Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 shaft forms the rotating assembly, while the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. With the standard L6W motor, the operating water temperature is limited to 35°C and suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.

Maximum head is 102 metres and hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The pump end uses the standard Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded delivery connection and a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection for coupling with an L6W submersible motor. Maximum immersion depth reaches 350 metres with L6W motors.

Installation is supported by the microcast discharge head and lower support, with the integrated stainless steel non-return valve incorporated into the discharge arrangement. Holes in the discharge head provide for safety-hook attachment when the pump end is lowered into the borehole.

FEATURES

  • The nine-stage radial arrangement adds hydraulic lift for deeper borehole transfer duties.
  • Removable wear rings provide a maintainable hydraulic clearance arrangement.
  • AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers provide the specified corrosion-resistant hydraulic construction.
  • The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft provides the specified material for the rotating components.
  • The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling supports the specified motor coupling arrangement.
  • AISI 316L tie rods, cable guard and strainer form part of the external pump-end construction.
  • The integrated stainless steel non-return valve is incorporated into the discharge head for backflow control.

Can this deep well submersible pump generate enough elevation to lift water from aquifers?

Across demanding borehole depths, the ZN612/9 develops a maximum dynamic head of approximately 102.1 m to ensure strong surface water delivery.

What discharge pipe diameter attaches to the pump and what peak delivery rate is attained?

Delivery pipe connection is made via the Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) threaded head, where the ZN612-9 discharges up to a peak flow rate of approximately 275 L/Min inside standard 6-inch borehole installations.

What grade of corrosion resistance does this submersible bore pump offer underground?

Mineral resistance in deep water extraction is maintained through AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling, with the ZN 612 9 managing suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.

Which electrical power rating and voltage supply are specified for this bore pump?

Electrical operation involves pairing the ZN_612_9 with a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor rated at 5.5 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase pulling 12.7 A, rated for water temperatures up to 35°C and submersion to 350 meters.

Does this submersible bore pump include a check valve and allow horizontal configurations?

An integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the discharge head of the ZN612/9 prevents line drainage, while horizontal installation is fully supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor positioned lowest.
