Product Overview
The eleven-stage ZN616/11 is intended for groundwater lowering where the installation needs a higher hydraulic lift from a six-inch borehole wet end. It delivers a maximum flow of 367 L/Min and reaches a maximum head of 135 metres.
AISI 316 stainless steel provides the pump-end construction, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The pump end permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
With the standard L6W motor, water temperature is limited to 35°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection provides the outlet, while a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection allows coupling with the L6W motor. Maximum immersion is 350 metres.
The discharge end uses a microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) head and lower support with an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes are included for installation and securing.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

How does this submersible pump resist harsh borehole minerals and suspended abrasive grit?
Underground mineral resistance is assured by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling construction in the ZN616/11, which tolerates abrasive sand particulates up to 100 g/m³.

Powering the ZN616-11 necessitates a 6-inch NEMA compatible L6W motor providing 9.3 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase with 20.5 A current, accommodating water temperatures up to 35°C and immersion to 350 meters.
Does this borehole pump have a built-in check valve and can it operate on an incline?
Backflow prevention is managed by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the ZN 616 11 microcast discharge head, and horizontal mounting is supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor at the lowest position.
