Product Overview

For water supply requiring substantial lift from a six-inch borehole, the ZN616/13 provides a thirteen-stage radial flow wet end with a maximum head of 160 metres. Its 367 L/Min maximum flow provides high-capacity hydraulic performance for demanding water-supply installations.

The ZN6 pump end is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel. AISI 316L stainless steel is used for the impellers and diffusers, with removable wear rings allowing hydraulic clearances to be serviced. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. Suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.

The standard L6W motor configuration supports water temperatures up to 35°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Discharge is through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection, with a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection and maximum immersion depth of 350 metres.

The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes provide attachment points during lowering and installation.

FEATURES

  • Thirteen radial stages provide the hydraulic lift required for water supply.
  • Removable wear rings provide serviceable hydraulic clearances.
  • AISI 316L impellers and diffusers form the specified radial hydraulic construction.
  • The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft supports the rotating assembly.
  • The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling provides the motor connection.
  • AISI 316L tie rods and cable guard maintain the stainless-steel external construction.
  • The microcast discharge assembly incorporates the lower support and non-return valve.

* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

What voltage and kilowatt rating are required to run this submersible pumping system?

Driving the hydraulic stages of the ZN616/13 requires a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor delivering 11 kW across 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase at 24.2 A, with thermal limits up to 35°C and depth ratings up to 350 meters.

Is a check valve included in the discharge head and can this unit be installed horizontally?

The discharge head of the ZN616-13 houses an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in microcast ASTM CF-8M material to eliminate reverse flow, with horizontal orientation supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.

How deep into a subterranean well can this submersible pump operate effectively?

Drawing water from deep well installations, the ZN 616 13 attains a peak dynamic head rating of approximately 160.3 m, generating dependable vertical lift for storage and distribution.

What connection size is on the pump discharge head and what is its peak flow output?

Discharge piping attaches to the integrated Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) threaded head, enabling the ZN_616_13 to achieve a peak flow rate of approximately 367 L/Min within standard 6-inch borehole installations.

What metallurgy is used in this borehole pump to prevent corrosion from groundwater?

Protection against aggressive groundwater chemistry is achieved through AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling, enabling the ZN616/13 to manage abrasive solids up to 100 g/m³ without premature wear.
