Product Overview

With nineteen radial stages, the ZN616/19 is configured for high-volume water supply where the borehole installation demands substantial hydraulic lift. The wet end provides a maximum flow of 367 L/Min and a maximum head of 234 metres.

AISI 316 stainless steel forms the pump-end body, while the impellers and diffusers are AISI 316L stainless steel and fitted with removable wear rings. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. Suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.

The standard L6W motor limits operating water temperature to 35°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection provides the outlet, with a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection and maximum immersion of 350 metres.

The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes provide the attachment points needed for installation.

FEATURES

  • Nineteen radial stages provide substantial lift for high-volume borehole supply.
  • Removable wear rings make the hydraulic stages serviceable.
  • AISI 316L impellers and diffusers provide the specified stainless-steel hydraulic construction.
  • The Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft provides the rotating assembly.
  • The replaceable Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling supports the motor connection.
  • AISI 316L tie rods and cable guard extend the external stainless-steel construction.
  • The microcast discharge head integrates the lower support and non-return valve.

* Submersible motor sold separately - requires coupling and assembly

What diameter plumbing connects to the delivery port and how much flow does it produce?

Surface piping connects to the Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) discharge connection, where the ZN616/19 provides a peak flow capacity of approximately 367 L/Min for standard 6-inch borehole installations.

How well does this submersible bore pump withstand abrasive sand and corrosive groundwater?

Long-term subterranean durability is provided by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling housing, allowing the ZN616-19 to withstand mineral exposure and suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.

What kilowatt rating and voltage configuration are needed to power this borehole pump?

The submersible drive for the ZN 616 19 specifies a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor delivering 15 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase at 32.1 A, accommodating temperatures up to 35°C and immersion to 350 meters.

Does this borehole unit include a built-in non-return valve and can it mount horizontally?

Protection against backflow in the ZN_616_19 is provided by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the delivery head, with horizontal mounting supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor at the lowest position.

What vertical lift height does this borehole pump deliver when operating underground?

Capable of overcoming substantial elevation resistance, the ZN616/19 reaches a maximum dynamic head of approximately 234.4 m to supply water from deep borehole reservoirs.
