Product Overview
The twenty-one-stage ZN616/21 is designed for waterworks distribution where high hydraulic lift is required from a six-inch borehole pump end. It reaches a maximum head of 257 metres while maintaining the 367 L/Min maximum flow.
The pump end is constructed in AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. A Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 shaft supports the rotating assembly, and the replaceable coupling uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The construction permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
With an L6W motor, operating water temperature is limited to 35°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Water is discharged through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection, with a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection and maximum immersion of 350 metres.
The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes assist with controlled lowering and securing during borehole installation.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Does this borehole pump feature corrosion-resistant metallurgy for long underground service?
Internal and external corrosion defense relies on AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling in the ZN616/21, which effectively manages gritty borehole water with sand up to 100 g/m³.

Running the ZN616-21 assembly relies on a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor rated at 15 kW powered by 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase drawing 32.1 A, handling fluids up to 35°C and submersion up to 350 meters.
Is a non-return valve built into the outlet and is horizontal deployment permissible?
An integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the discharge head of the ZN 616 21 prevents line drainage, while horizontal installation is fully supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor positioned lowest.

In subterranean extraction setups, the ZN_616_21 maintains a maximum dynamic head capability of approximately 257.8 m, lifting groundwater smoothly to ground level.
