Product Overview
The ZN616/7 adds a seventh radial stage to the six-inch ZN6 wet-end configuration, producing a maximum head of 86 metres while retaining the 367 L/Min maximum flow. This combination is suited to borehole systems supplying water through distribution networks.
AISI 316 stainless steel is used for the pump-end construction, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. Suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.
When matched with an L6W motor, the installation supports water temperatures up to 35°C. Performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B, with the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection providing discharge. The standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection is used, with maximum immersion of 350 metres with an L6W motor.
The discharge assembly consists of a microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support, incorporating an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes assist with lowering and securing the pump end.
FEATURES
- Seven radial stages provide additional lift for waterworks distribution.

Is a non-return valve integrated into the discharge port and can this pump be positioned horizontally?
To maintain delivery line prime and prevent backflow, the ZN616/7 features an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the discharge head, supporting horizontal service at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.
What maximum elevation height does this submersible water extraction pump provide?
To achieve high vertical water elevation, the ZN616-7 maintains a maximum dynamic head of approximately 86.1 m, ensuring robust delivery from deep wells.
Which plumbing connection fits the pump outlet head and what maximum flow is achieved?
The top outlet incorporates a Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) discharge thread, enabling the ZN 616 7 to deliver a peak flow capacity of approximately 367 L/Min when installed in standard 6-inch borehole installations.
What materials protect this submersible bore pump from corrosion in deep well environments?
Defending against both corrosion and grit erosion, the ZN_616_7 uses AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling to provide dependable service with sand up to 100 g/m³.
What are the electrical operating voltage and power requirements for this borehole unit?
Powering the pump end on the ZN616/7 demands a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor configured for 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase at 12.7 A, handling fluid temperatures up to 35°C and depths to 350 meters.
