Product Overview
Agricultural irrigation systems requiring more lift than the lower-stage configurations can use the ZN616/8, an eight-stage radial flow pump end with a maximum head of 98 metres. The six-inch wet end maintains a maximum flow of 367 L/Min for high-capacity borehole water delivery.
The ZN6 construction uses AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers fitted with removable wear rings. A Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 shaft is used for the rotating assembly, while the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The specified construction permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
The standard L6W motor configuration supports water temperatures up to 35°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B, with discharge through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection. A standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection is provided, with maximum immersion of 350 metres with L6W motors.
The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support include an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes are provided for controlled lowering and securing during installation.

What dynamic elevation head can this borehole pump achieve when drawing from deep aquifers?
When lifting groundwater from deep subterranean aquifers, the ZN616/8 delivers a maximum dynamic head of approximately 98.4 m, providing reliable water elevation across high vertical pipe columns.
What pipe size connects to the top discharge outlet and what peak flow rate is delivered?
Connecting to your delivery piping requires a standard Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) outlet thread, allowing the ZN616-8 to deliver a peak flow of approximately 367 L/Min while designed to fit inside standard 6-inch borehole installations.
Is this submersible bore pump resistant to corrosion from minerals and particulate wear?
Corrosion defense in harsh underground water sources is provided by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling, allowing the ZN 616 8 to maintain structural integrity while tolerating suspended sand concentrations up to 100 g/m³.
What electrical power and voltage supply are required to operate this submersible pump?
Operating the ZN_616_8 pump end requires coupling to a 6-inch NEMA standard L6W submersible motor rated at 7.5 kW on a 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase power supply, drawing approximately 17 A, with operating water temperatures supported up to 35°C and immersion depth up to 350 meters.
Does this pump include an integrated check valve and can it be mounted horizontally?
Reverse flow protection in the ZN616/8 is provided by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the microcast ASTM CF-8M discharge head, while horizontal mounting is supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor at the lowest position.
