Product Overview
As a standalone hydraulic wet end, the Lowara ZN622/30 represents a technical solution within the Z6 Series range of submersible borehole pumps. Operating this wet end requires secure coupling with a compatible 30 kW electric motor of the appropriate power rating. Designed for secure installation inside standard 6-inch deep wells, the assembly operates inside standard casings. It is suitable for groundwater supply and irrigation systems, municipal supply lines, and agricultural distribution projects.
To support long-term physical stability during operation, the structural sleeve and discharge head are engineered from cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel. The multi-stage centrifugal hydraulic assembly consists of 30 stages, each incorporating an AISI 316L stainless steel radial impeller. The integrated radial impellers are designed to limit abrasive wear from sand particles, supporting water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand.
Once paired with its designated 30 kW electric motor (nominal current rating of 61.7 Amps), the coupled assembly achieves up to 401 m maximum head. This multi-stage hydraulic wet end generates a maximum flow of 500 L/Min through its Rp 65 mm threaded connection. All performance parameters are in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.
The pump has a maximum external diameter of 142 mm for installation inside standard 6-inch borehole wells. Maximum pump immersion depth is 300 m when used with C4S motors and 350 m when used with L6W motors. The lower support bracket incorporates a standard 6" NEMA-compliant mount for simple mechanical motor integration. Safe coupling requires correct mechanical alignment of the pump shaft and the motor shaft during mechanical coupling.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

What voltage and kilowatt power specifications are required to run this motor?
Operating requirements for the ZN622/30 mandate a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor providing 30 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase with 61.7 A current draw.
Is a non-return valve integrated into the pump head and is horizontal mounting supported?
Piping system integrity is maintained by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the ZN622-30, which also permits horizontal installation at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.
Can this deep well water pump push water up from significant subterranean depths?
Overcoming tall vertical column drops, the ZN 622 30 generates a maximum dynamic head of approximately 401 m, maintaining flow across surface pipelines.
