Product Overview
Meeting the requirements of standard deep-well installations, the Lowara ZN622/4 represents a standalone pump end in the Z6 Series. It is essential to pair this standalone pump end with a compatible 4 kW electric motor for deep-well water supply. The physical structure is designed for standard vertical placement inside standard 6-inch casings. It is suitable for water transfer and pressure boosting networks and water distribution setups.
To support long-term physical stability during operation, the structural sleeve and discharge head are engineered from cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel. The multi-stage centrifugal hydraulic assembly consists of 4 stages, each incorporating an AISI 316L stainless steel radial impeller. The integrated radial impellers are designed to limit abrasive wear from sand particles, supporting water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand.
Once paired with its designated 4 kW electric motor (nominal current rating of 9.17 Amps), the coupled assembly achieves up to 54 m maximum head. This multi-stage hydraulic wet end generates a maximum flow of 500 L/Min through its Rp 65 mm threaded connection. All performance parameters are in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.
The pump has a maximum external diameter of 142 mm for installation inside standard 6-inch borehole wells. Maximum pump immersion depth is 300 m when used with C4S motors and 350 m when used with L6W motors. The lower support bracket incorporates a standard 6" NEMA-compliant mount for simple mechanical motor integration. Safe coupling requires correct mechanical alignment of the pump shaft and the motor shaft during mechanical coupling.

What kilowatt power and voltage supply must be supplied to this submersible motor?
Electrical parameters for the ZN622/4 specify a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor running on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase pulling 9.17 A, with safe operation up to 35°C and immersion to 350 meters.
Does this submersible pump incorporate a non-return valve and allow horizontal installation?
Water backflow prevention is integrated into the ZN622-4 discharge head via a stainless steel non-return valve, with horizontal orientation allowed at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.
How deep below ground level can this submersible unit lift water to the surface?
Generating substantial vertical pressure, the ZN 622 4 achieves a maximum dynamic head of approximately 54 m to push water out of deep well shafts.
What size fitting attaches to the delivery connection and what peak flow rate is achieved?
The delivery outlet incorporates a standard Rp 2 1/2" (65 mm) thread, allowing the ZN_622_4 to achieve a peak flow rate of approximately 500 L/Min when seated in standard 6-inch borehole installations.
Can this submersible bore pump withstand mineralized groundwater and suspended particles?
Erosion and corrosion protection are built into the ZN622/4 through AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling components, which manage abrasive grit up to 100 g/m³.
