Product Overview
Representing the technical design of the Z6 Series, the Lowara ZN631/11 standalone wet end serves as a borehole pump end. It is essential to pair this standalone pump end with a compatible 15 kW electric motor for deep-well water supply. The physical structure is designed for standard vertical placement inside standard 6-inch casings. It is suitable for pressure boosting and industrial networks and water distribution setups.
To support long-term physical stability during operation, the structural sleeve and discharge head are engineered from cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel. The multi-stage centrifugal hydraulic assembly consists of 11 stages, each incorporating an AISI 316L stainless steel radial impeller. The integrated radial impellers are designed to limit abrasive wear from sand particles, supporting water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand.
Once paired with its designated 15 kW electric motor (nominal current rating of 32.2 Amps), the coupled assembly achieves up to 159.8 m maximum head. This multi-stage hydraulic wet end generates a maximum flow of 667 L/Min through its Rp 80 mm threaded connection. All performance parameters are in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.
The pump has a maximum external diameter of 142 mm for installation inside standard 6-inch borehole wells. Maximum pump immersion depth is 300 m when used with C4S motors and 350 m when used with L6W motors. The lower support bracket incorporates a standard 6" NEMA-compliant mount for simple mechanical motor integration. Safe coupling requires correct mechanical alignment of the pump shaft and the motor shaft during mechanical coupling.

Does this borehole pump have a non-return valve built in and can it mount horizontally?
Discharge line backflow is eliminated by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the ZN631/11, with horizontal service supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.
How far vertically can this borehole unit elevate water from subterranean reservoirs?
To elevate water efficiently from subterranean depths, the ZN631-11 delivers a peak dynamic head rating of approximately 159.8 m.
Which pipe diameter fits the pump discharge outlet and what is the peak flow output?
Discharge connections thread directly into the Rp 3" (80 mm) head, with the ZN 631 11 delivering a maximum flow volume of approximately 667 L/Min inside standard 6-inch borehole installations.
Does this submersible bore pump offer heavy corrosion resistance in mineral-rich wells?
Protection against mineral wear and corrosion is delivered by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling in the ZN_631_11, tolerating suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
What kilowatt power rating and electrical supply voltage are needed for this pump?
Powering the submersible drive for the ZN631/11 demands a 6-inch NEMA L6W motor of 15 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase drawing 32.2 A.
