Product Overview
Designed for deep well installations, the Lowara ZN631/14 is a standalone borehole pump end within the Z6 Series. It is essential to pair this standalone pump end with a compatible 18.5 kW electric motor for deep-well water supply. The physical structure is designed for standard vertical placement inside standard 6-inch casings. It is suitable for pressure boosting and industrial networks and water distribution setups.
To support long-term physical stability during operation, the structural sleeve and discharge head are engineered from cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel. The multi-stage centrifugal hydraulic assembly consists of 14 stages, each incorporating an AISI 316L stainless steel radial impeller. The integrated radial impellers are designed to limit abrasive wear from sand particles, supporting water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand.
Once paired with its designated 18.5 kW electric motor (nominal current rating of 39.3 Amps), the coupled assembly achieves up to 203.9 m maximum head. This multi-stage hydraulic wet end generates a maximum flow of 667 L/Min through its Rp 80 mm threaded connection. All performance parameters are in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.
The pump has a maximum external diameter of 142 mm for installation inside standard 6-inch borehole wells. Maximum pump immersion depth is 300 m when used with C4S motors and 350 m when used with L6W motors. The lower support bracket incorporates a standard 6" NEMA-compliant mount for simple mechanical motor integration. Safe coupling requires correct mechanical alignment of the pump shaft and the motor shaft during mechanical coupling.

What size discharge line joins this pump head and what is the top flow capacity?
Connecting delivery risers to the Rp 3" (80 mm) discharge outlet enables the ZN631/14 to provide a peak flow capacity of approximately 667 L/Min inside standard 6-inch borehole installations.
What metallurgy protects this deep well pump from corrosive subterranean elements?
Corrosion resistance in demanding groundwater wells is sustained by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling in the ZN631-14, which withstands sand up to 100 g/m³.
Which power supply voltage and kilowatt rating are required to operate this bore pump?
Supplying electricity to the ZN 631 14 wet end requires a dedicated 6-inch NEMA L6W motor of 18.5 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase with 39.3 A current draw.
Does this submersible unit feature an integrated check valve and support inclined layouts?
Preventing backflow during pump shutdown, the ZN_631_14 incorporates an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the microcast head, with horizontal installation supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.
How high can this submersible pumping system elevate water from underground well shafts?
Deep well extraction reliability is ensured by the ZN631/14, which generates a maximum dynamic head of approximately 203.9 m across the delivery curve.
