Product Overview

Providing standard hydraulic performance, the Lowara ZN631/24 is a standalone borehole wet end within the Z6 Series range. It is essential to pair this standalone pump end with a compatible 37 kW electric motor for deep-well water supply. The physical structure is designed for standard vertical placement inside standard 6-inch casings. It is suitable for pressure boosting and industrial networks and water distribution setups.

To support long-term physical stability during operation, the structural sleeve and discharge head are engineered from cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel. The multi-stage centrifugal hydraulic assembly consists of 24 stages, each incorporating an AISI 316L stainless steel radial impeller. The integrated radial impellers are designed to limit abrasive wear from sand particles, supporting water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand.

Once paired with its designated 37 kW electric motor (nominal current rating of 77.2 Amps), the coupled assembly achieves up to 347.4 m maximum head. This multi-stage hydraulic wet end generates a maximum flow of 667 L/Min through its Rp 80 mm threaded connection. All performance parameters are in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.

The pump has a maximum external diameter of 142 mm for installation inside standard 6-inch borehole wells. Maximum pump immersion depth is 300 m when used with C4S motors and 350 m when used with L6W motors. The lower support bracket incorporates a standard 6" NEMA-compliant mount for simple mechanical motor integration. Safe coupling requires correct mechanical alignment of the pump shaft and the motor shaft during mechanical coupling.

How does this submersible pump resist harsh borehole minerals and suspended abrasive grit?

Underground mineral resistance is assured by AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling construction in the ZN631/24, which tolerates abrasive sand particulates up to 100 g/m³.

Which electrical power source and supply voltage are necessary for this borehole pump?

Powering the ZN631-24 necessitates a 6-inch NEMA compatible L6W motor providing 37 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase with 77.2 A current, accommodating water temperatures up to 35°C and immersion to 350 meters.

Does this borehole pump have a built-in check valve and can it operate on an incline?

Backflow prevention is managed by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the ZN 631 24 microcast discharge head, and horizontal mounting is supported at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor at the lowest position.

What is the maximum vertical lift rating supported by this borehole pumping unit?

Operating across challenging underground depths, the ZN_631_24 develops a maximum dynamic head rating of approximately 347.4 m to overcome tall vertical risers and pipe friction.

What diameter pipe fits the top delivery port and how much water volume does it discharge?

Fitted with a heavy-duty Rp 3" (80 mm) discharge connection, the ZN631/24 produces a maximum delivery capacity of approximately 667 L/Min for installations in standard 6-inch borehole installations.
