Product Overview

The Lowara ZN660/11 standalone wet end is engineered for deep well configurations as a standard pump end in the Z6 Series. Operating this wet end requires secure coupling with a compatible 18.5 kW electric motor of the appropriate power rating. Designed for secure installation inside standard 6-inch deep wells, the assembly operates inside standard casings. It is suitable for groundwater lowering and dewatering systems, municipal supply lines, and agricultural distribution projects.

To support long-term physical stability during operation, the structural sleeve and discharge head are engineered from cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel. The multi-stage centrifugal hydraulic assembly consists of 11 stages, each incorporating an AISI 316L stainless steel radial impeller. The integrated radial impellers are designed to limit abrasive wear from sand particles, supporting water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand.

Once paired with its designated 18.5 kW electric motor (nominal current rating of 38.5 Amps), the coupled assembly achieves up to 118 m maximum head. This multi-stage hydraulic wet end generates a maximum flow of 1,300 L/Min through its Rp 80 mm threaded connection. All performance parameters are in accordance with manufacturer technical specifications.

The pump has a maximum external diameter of 142 mm for installation inside standard 6-inch borehole wells. Maximum pump immersion depth is 300 m when used with C4S motors and 350 m when used with L6W motors. The lower support bracket incorporates a standard 6" NEMA-compliant mount for simple mechanical motor integration. Safe coupling requires correct mechanical alignment of the pump shaft and the motor shaft during mechanical coupling.

What thread size connects to the delivery port and how much flow does the pump supply?

Connecting to the Rp 3" (80 mm) top delivery port enables the ZN660/11 to pump a maximum flow volume of approximately 1300 L/Min in standard 6-inch borehole installations.

How does this pump construction prevent corrosion in deep groundwater environments?

Guarding against corrosive subterranean aquifers, the ZN660-11 features AISI 316 stainless steel pump end, AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers with removable wear rings, Duplex UNS S 31803 shaft, and Duplex UNS S 32304 coupling construction that withstands sand levels up to 100 g/m³.

What motor kilowatt rating and supply voltage are required to operate this unit?

Electrical input specifications for the ZN 660 11 demand a 6-inch NEMA L6W drive of 18.5 kW on 380–415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase, with rated amperage at 38.5 A.

Is an internal check valve provided in the outlet and can this unit operate on an incline?

Reverse drainage control in the ZN_660_11 is delivered by an integrated stainless steel non-return valve in the microcast discharge assembly, with horizontal orientation approved at a minimum recommended 3° incline with the motor lowest.

How high can this extraction pump push water up from an underground borehole?

Lifting water from deep subterranean reserves, the ZN660/11 attains a maximum dynamic head rating of approximately 118 m across its operating curve.
