The Davey 5290HRS2 Remote Start Firefighter Mark II is a petrol-powered self-priming pump designed for high pressure firefighting and emergency water supply applications. It is ideal for firefighting, external fire protection sprinkler systems, irrigation, and high head water transfer where strong pressure performance is required.

This twin stage model delivers flow capacities up to 430 L/Min and operates with a maximum total head of 90 metres, providing high pressure performance for demanding applications.

The pump features a twin impeller centrifugal design with heavy-duty wide vane impellers, constructed from corrosion-resistant marine grade aluminium across the casing, diffuser, and impellers. A carbon and ceramic mechanical seal ensures durability and long service life, while the self-priming capability allows operation from suction lifts up to 7 metres.

Powered by a Honda iGX270 petrol engine with electric start and recoil backup, the unit includes a remote start control system enabling operation via SMS, heat sensors, scheduled timers, or manual controls. The system incorporates automatic shutdown protections and dual-speed operation (3600 rpm and 2800 rpm). It supports water temperatures up to 50°C and is engineered for reliable performance in demanding conditions.
