AstralPool Viron eQuilibrium EQ45 Salt Chlorinator for High Capacity Pool with Viron Connect Integration

For large residential pools where sanitisation demand, filtration requirements and water balance all need to work together, the AstralPool Viron eQuilibrium EQ45 provides a highly integrated solution. The system combines high-capacity chlorine production with semi-automatic pH control, creating a platform that can adapt to changing pool conditions while reducing routine maintenance effort.

Its intelligent control software adjusts acid dosing in response to chlorinator output, helping support balanced water chemistry throughout everyday operation. Access to settings and performance information is available through the ChlorinatorGO Bluetooth® application, allowing pool owners to manage key functions wirelessly from a compatible device.

The eQuilibrium platform can be expanded through a range of optional automation components. Automatic pH management becomes available with the addition of a pH sensor and sensor kit, while chlorine level control can be enhanced through the optional Gold Tip ORP sensor. When integrated with a Viron XT variable speed pump, AI Mode provides advanced automation of filtration schedules, chlorine production, pH balance and water turnover.

Producing up to 45 g/h of chlorine, the EQ45 is recommended for pools up to 170,000 litres in temperate climates and 105,000 litres in tropical climates. The chlorinator operates within a salinity range of 3,000–8,000 ppm and is designed around a recommended salt level of 4,000 ppm. Four programmable timers, two light timers, Viron Connect compatibility and support for multiple AI operating modes make it suitable for advanced residential pool installations.
