Residential pool systems operating with reduced salt concentrations can utilize the Lifeguard DCLG-15CLS for automated low-salt chlorination and integrated chemistry management. The controller is developed to provide simplified pool water maintenance through intelligent monitoring, automatic dosing control, and connected equipment operation within residential filtration environments.

Chlorine production reaches 15 g/hr with calcium hypochlorite equivalent output extending to 23 g/hr during operation. The system operates from a single-phase 240V electrical supply with maximum power consumption of 0.12 kW and supports low-salt operation between 1500 and 6000 ppm. Recommended pool capacities extend to 60,000 litres in cool climates, 48,000 litres in temperate climates, and 36,000 litres in hot or tropical regions.

Integrated chemistry management includes pH sensing, automatic acid dosing, ORP control, and continuous monitoring of temperature and salt concentration levels. The reverse polarity chlorinator cell assists reduction of calcium scale buildup during operation, while WiFi-enabled app control allows remote adjustment of chlorination settings, pump operation, and heating management functions.
