An 18g/hr chlorine output is combined with integrated algorithmic pH Control in the XLS18pH, providing extra-low-salt sanitation and automatic acid dosing within the same system. The electrolytic cell is self-cleaning and generates chlorine from the salt or mineral content of the pool water.

Built-in Cover Mode reduces chlorine production to 20% of normal when a pool cover is being used. The pH model also incorporates three timed power outlets for controlling compatible pool equipment and accessories, giving the system additional control functionality beyond chlorine generation.

Rather than using a pH probe to measure the water, the integrated pH Control calculates the acid requirement from the amount of chlorine produced by the electrolytic cell. The algorithm therefore provides automatic dosing without pH probe calibration.

The XLS18pH is suitable for salt or mineral pools and is manufactured in Australia. Pool Controls provides national service support, and XLS Series chlorinators are covered by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms.
