PoolControls XLS23 Salt Water Chlorinator 23g/hr for Extra-Low-Salt Pools with Self-Cleaning Cell

The 23g/hr XLS23 provides extra-low-salt chlorine generation for salt or mineral pools requiring a higher sanitation capacity. A self-cleaning electrolytic cell produces chlorine from the pool water while the extra-low-salt system is designed to maintain effective sanitation without the higher salt concentrations used by conventional salt chlorinators.

When a pool cover is fitted, the built-in Cover Mode can reduce chlorine production to 20% of normal, helping match chlorine generation to the lower sanitiser demand of a covered pool. Automatic pH dosing can be added later through the separate plug-and-play XLS pH Control upgrade system.

The extra-low-salt approach can reduce the quantity of salt discharged during backwashing and may help protect pool surrounds and metal components from the effects associated with higher salt concentrations. Salt and mineral pool operation is supported across the XLS range.

Australian-made construction is backed by Pool Controls' national service network. XLS Series chlorinators are covered by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms.
