Onga PWT-SDB 1.0m Fibreglass Deep Bed Pool Filter with 1.2m Sand Bed and 50mm Drain

The Onga PWT-SDB-12-10-20 commercial deep bed filter combines substantial media capacity with extended filtration depth for larger swimming pools and demanding aquatic circulation systems. The 1.0 metre vessel incorporates a full 1.2 metre deep sand bed arrangement to support longer filtration contact time and stable continuous commercial operation.

An effective filtration area of 0.78 m² supports maximum hydraulic flow rates up to approximately 31.2 m³/hr. Backwash performance extends to approximately 25.2 m³/hr during maintenance and filter cleaning procedures, while the vessel accommodates approximately 1436 kg of filtration sand media and operates at maximum pressures up to 250 kPa.

Dual lateral layers assist with maintaining balanced hydraulic distribution throughout the media bed to support consistent debris retention and stable filtration efficiency during continuous-duty service. A 4” sight glass is incorporated to assist operators during backwash procedures, while the integrated servicing manhole provides direct internal access for maintenance and inspection requirements.

Constructed using spun-woven UV resistant fibreglass, the vessel provides durability against chemically treated water, corrosion, and outdoor commercial operating conditions. The system incorporates a 50 mm / 2” drain arrangement together with a 2” / 50 mm valve connection for installation and servicing compatibility.
